My experience in the the audiovisual area started through music in 1997, where I played bass in a band during 6 years. A year later I was already playing with videos, cutting and mixing some VHS tapes. 

By 2000 I was freelancing as film editor.
All these allowed me to work with different types of companies from this field, such as, Fiction, Commercials, Tv show and Cinema.
In 2005 what started as an academic project became what today is my own company, I named it, "INOUT Creative Studio", in witch along with my DOP Angêlo Fernandes we produced over 40 projects until today to different well-known brands and companies in Portugal. 

Today I am also work under my own brand, "JosematosEditor" where I work directly with other independent creatives.
